The weekend before the Spring Evaluation period teams headed to Jonesboro, AR for the Inaugural NEA Next Level Showcase. Here are just a few players that stood out.
I’ve probably said this before but ’20 point guard, Endya Buford (Olive Branch, MS), is small in stature. However, her game; motor; and heart is enormous. She absolutely is not gonna stop on any play. She brings the energy. She is a super unselfish distributor and she can bring the offense, if necessary.
Another player with an abundance of energy is ’20 forward Shelbee Brown (Memphis, TN). She plays all over the court DEFENSIVELY. Since the regular season tournament play, she has been very impressive in how her offensive game is coming along.
Don’t let this young lady’s frame fool you. ’21 guard Jersey Wolfenbarger (Fort Smith, AR) is strong behind the three point line and is just as powerful getting to the rack off the dribble.
’22 point guard Ereauna Hardaway (Jonesboro, AR) is a year from playing high school basketball. However, her game is quite mature. She quarterbacks her squad. Constantly communicating with her teammates and putting them in their positions on the court. She plays super composed offensively and pretty aggressive on the defensive end.
