March Madness

Can you believe it!

College basketball season is over!

The NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Bracket is set!

Last year’s tournament was some of the most exciting women’s college games I have ever watched.

I’m excited to see how this tournament turns out.

Here is a link to the NCAA Division 1 Women’s Basketball bracket.

You can also access the Division 2 and 3 Brackets at that link.

Junior College Division 1 National Tournament

I’ve mentioned this before. When women’s basketball college teams’ seasons end, coaches turn their attention to recruiting.

Not only do they focus on high school recruiting, they also focus on Junior College Recruiting. YES Division 1 College Coaches recruit Junior College Players!

Some D1 women’s basketball coaches went directly to the Division 1 Junior College District Tournaments from their conference tournaments.

I remember last year when we lost in the quarterfinals of our conference tournament. I drove almost 6 hours to Tyler, TX to watch the Mid-South District Tournament.

I actually found my last recruit for Southern Miss at that JUCO tournament.

The winners of the JUCO district tournaments earn an automatic bid to the National Championship.

D1 women’s basketball college coaches will be at the JUCO National Championship tournament recruiting also.

Use this link to learn more about the Division 1 districts, teams and who earned an automatic bid to the National Tournament.

30 Days

On March 20, we will be 30 days away from the first Evaluation Period for Travel basketball.

Activity

It’s time to send another email to the college coaches in your state and region.

Our goal by sending the emails isn’t to get a response from the coaches.

Our goal is to make it easy for college coaches in your region and state to recruit you.

You are making it easy by providing information of who you are and where you will be during Travel Basketball Season.

They likely got your 1st email and made a mental note to go back to it, flagged it in their email system or it was printed out.

By sending another email, you are sending a reminder about who you are and where you will be.

“A lot of people say they want to be great, but they’re not willing to make the sacrifices necessary to achieve greatness.”

-Kobe Bryant
